These maps show mainland Kepler as a whole. However, note that what the mortal and immortal humans of Kepler refer to as the “mainland” is only one of Kepler’s two main continents. The native Keplerians primarily occupy a much larger continent on the opposite side of the planet, and they utilize magic not understood by humans to prevent humans from occupying or, in most cases, even being able to see that continent. On the mainland continent, native Keplerians are only visible in any real sense to the human eye in Native Valley. As humans are unable to communicate with the native intelligent life species of Kepler, we do not know why more native Keplerians do not occupy the mainland. Scientists speculate that the climate, which is generally suitable for human life, is not favored by the aboriginals.
